The Nail-Biter Book Club's Rules and Additional Information

Welcome to the Nail-Biter Book Club!

To completely enjoy this reading experience, we ask you to follow these rules:

• This is a YA (Young Adult) Book Club, so all book submissions and suggestions must be YA. All genres within YA are acceptable, though.
• All comments and posts must be in English, so the club is kept accessible to all nationalities.
• Always respect a Nail-Biter's opinion, even if it's not your own.
• You are allowed to cuss, but no messages nor comments can transmit hate, bigotry, and offensive jargon directed at another Nail-Biter.
• Your opinion is always valid, as long as it is respectful, and preferably justifiable.
• You're welcome to vote and participate in all events and activities, within the stipulated time period. You can also skip any event you'd like, even if it is reading the Book of the Month.
• If you wish to post something related to the ongoing events, you can contact the Admins at any time, through e-mail:

thenailbiterbookclub@gmail.com

If your message is compliant with the rules, we will promptly post it.
• We welcome feedback and suggestions to improve any aspect of the club or to add new content/events.

Now, our YA Book Club is full of events that have a few rules too:

Book of the Month: Every month there will be a poll with 5 YA books of different genres, where the club members will vote which book to read that month. Every month will be headed by one of the club members, during which they will choose the 5 books to be included in the poll. Polls must be created by the 25th and be voted and closed by the end of the previous month, so the reading can start on the 1st day.
Book Discussion: Every month there will be debate topics to be discussed among members after the reading. To have time to do so, the discussion starts on the 25th of each month, so the reading must be done by then. There is no discussion before, as to avoid spoilers.
Book Photoshoot: We invite all Nail-Biters to practice their photography skills and share their pictures of the Book of the Month with other members. If you want to share your picture, contact the Admins and we'll post it. Pictures can be posted throughout the whole month.
Book Fanart: Many of us are artists, so we welcome all creative Nail-Biters that wish to share fanart of the Book of the Month. It can be drawings, quote art, bookmarks, pins... There is no limit. We just ask for these submissions to be sent to the Admins after the 25th, so as to avoid any potential spoilers.

That is it! If you have suggestions and ideas for new events, please contact us! We hope you all have fun and that the club will provide good reading material and a warm community to share your love for books with!

  1. Hello Ana,

Hope you are doing good. You have an amazing blog, loved it.

I am writing to you today, looking for an honest review of my suspense, thriller, sci-fi story-book "Time Crawlers", published on June 14, 2018, via Kindle Direct Publishing. The book is 118 pages long.
Alien Invasion, Dark Artificial Intelligence, Time-Travel, High-Tech Hindu Mythology, Djinn Folklore, Telekinetics and life-consuming Cosmic Entities are some major themes in my book which has 6 tightly-knit, fast-paced Sci-Fi stories.

Your precious words would help me write better books in the future. If you wish to review the book, please let me know which of these formats, PDF / MOBI / EPUB, would you like to read?

    Very Respectfully,
